A Supportive Presence for Parents and Caregivers

If your loved one is struggling with behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, substance use, or other challenges, you don’t have to manage it alone.

If you are stressed out, frustrated, and out of ideas on how to support a loved one that is challenged by internal limitations or poor decision-making skills I would like to be there for you. I have offered support and helpful suggestions to many clients in similar situations, reducing their experience of feeling overly burdened and burnt out.

I started my career as a daycare teacher and have experience working in Special Education, with High Risk Youth and vulnerable populations. Which has been a tremendous resource when working with parents, partners, siblings, and others who are at a loss for what to do next.

Often the first step is to have great compassion for yourself and what you are going through, which then makes it easier to extend a deeper understanding to the person in your life that presents with challenges. Together we will identify approaches that are encouraging of your loved one’s strength, and target effective interventions and relationship.

This changes the challenging behaviors, and creates a foundation for a loving and respectful relationship.
